Not only does Senior Life Insurance Company of Thomasville, Georgia rips off clients/insureds (something they have done with my own clients) but they also do it to their agents. I will skip the details of how they lie in their recruiting efforts, sell the agents junk leads for $60 and don't pay year-end commissions and concentrate on another scam they are perpetrating at the end, once the contract is cancelled and the agent (tired of being lied to and robbed) moves on.

At this point, they report agents to Vector (the equivalent of a credit reporting agency but for insurance agents. This Vector is checked by other insurance companies agents apply to write business for and if there is any derogatory/negative item reported, insurance companies will deny appointments and agents won't be able to work). Senior Life is taking it upon itself to fraudulently report agents to Vectors, no doubt, this is a new "income stream" for the company which must be losing money since it is poorly managed and losing clients because of it. In order to be released from the Vector, an agent must pay its debt to the insurance company reporting the debt.

How is that for a beautiful and perfect way to get every agent that leaves right by the gonads? SENIOR LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY is a scam, they should be shut down and the owners put in jail. Coincidentally, don't bother complaining to the Insurance Commission because the politicians are dully owned by the insurance companies. Hit them where it hurts, SUE THE LIVING *** OUT OF THEM and, eventually, they will go bankrupt and go away like the vultures they are.

You have been warned, both as a consumer and as a agent. Feel free to contact me, I'm looking for agents willing to file a class action lawsuit against this company

Reason of review: Fraud.

Monetary Loss: $100000.

Preferred solution: Delete the Vector & forget I ever existed!.

I'm sure the company's main revenue stream is selling the junk leads to agents. They probably sell the same leads to several agents. Stay away from these hucksters!

Don't waste time in court or the BBB. only people that win are attorneys and those with deepest pockets.

contact your state's department of insurance investigations unit (they are sworn officers with badges, guns and handcuffs). i recently filed a complaint regarding their practice of unlicensed support staff and trainees binding business and receiving bonuses for said work. there are other laws as well being investigated. Both are 3rd degree felony's with hundreds of of charges for each.

The D.O.I. can yank their license and shut them down without warrant or notice as they have the right under my states law. i have ample documentation to support my complaint i submitted.

you should see your states laws and code of ethics which governs them and provide as much documentation as you can to solidify your complaint and stop this egregious attitude of thinking laws don't apply to them. put them in fail, bury them in fines and shut their doors by having the government yank their agency and individual licenses.

I am so glad I read this. Definitely won't be getting insurance from them.

What I'd really like to know is how seniors can find & obtain a truly affordable, truly good life insurance and/or final expense plan? With all the commercials & websites out there, it certainly is overwhelming & confusing. Before I contact any organization, I check for their history in business & their reviews. So many of them have bad reviews!

I'm at a loss for what to do to get a plan to help family with final expenses & leave a little money for them, that I can actually afford. You got any rexommendations for me? You agents have every right to file suit against this awful company.

I certainly hope you do & pray for your well-deserved success. Thank you for sharing this info with us & warning us about this horrible company.

How do you cancel an agent contract

I got a call at 8:10 AM on 2/20/18. The agent said I called for a quote; he hung up when I said I didnโ€™t. I hate scams and scammers and know how insurance companies work (3 months with Met Life made me feel dirty).

Would you have preferred that the agent stay on the line and insist that your did call for a quote?

Guest

not Interested in another scam.

All these bad reviews are not for nothing. These reviews help me make up my mind not to even get a quote with Senior Life because apparently they are RIP offs.

I just received a letter from Vector, it states I was denied an appointment with another company because I owe a debt to Senior Life Insurance Company. I don't understand where this debt came from because I have never received anything from Senior Life making me aware of this debt. I am open to joining a civil suit to sue the pants off of Senior life because they are messing with my lively hood.

I suggest that you send via fax very detailed reports against Senior Life Insurance Company to the following. However, it is strongly advised that you write your grievance(s) professionally and give full details and not just accusations. The Senate Special Committee on Aging already has much information and needs more. The Senate Special Committee on AgingFax Number: 202-224-****

I didn't find this till it was too late. I am done with insurance,,,all the companies lie to you to get you onboard then they let you get the real truth later. Especially Senior Life

I was just submitting contract to work with them and get appointed with them... then reading this.... wow, has anyone taken next steps?

Guest

Same has happened to me and I know a few other angry agents. Letโ€™s sue

Guest

Iโ€™m an agent and Iโ€™d be more than willing to jump on a lawsuit against them. Iโ€™ve experienced all the same things.

The sales of the leads is their biggest scam. And they wonโ€™t refund any less for any reason. Even when it was a bad lead that a customer called in by mistake.

You pay for it regardless. A 3 yr old could call in accidentally and they would charge you for it and not refund it.

Hi James let me know also, I will be up for Class action

Guest

Yep. I was starting slow testing it and suddenly I owe the $525 in โ€œleadsโ€ I didnโ€™t request or ask for.

They sent them to the portal and never informed me. When I asked I got a bunch of run around about not knowing how it happened or why but all leads need to be bought so Iโ€™m responsible.

The claim is miscommunication that they can charge send you and charge you for full amounts for leads whether you know or not. Scam artists.

Glad I read this. A lot of Senior Life agents wanting me to join them. I work the front desk of a hotel, and there were a lot of agents staying for the annual Christmas Party.
